Bio: 

Mike Spoer is a graduate of Westminster College with a Bachelors in Music Education. He is currently working towards his Masters in Teaching at Ryder College of NJ. He is also a member of the TriM Society. Performing for more than 16 years, Mike currently works with “Friends of Mine” a classic “rock” cover band throughout northern New Jersey. Mike writes original compositions and many are performed with "Friends of Mine". In addition to his work with this band, Mike also performs with “The Rum Boogie Blues Band”. He offers invaluable skills in theory, composition, and performance to his students ranging in age from 8 to 80 and all find successful achievement in Guitar, Voice, and Bass. His approach is friendly and supportive with a focus on reading skills, and diligent practice. Mike also offers valuable one-on-one lessons for Music Theory Majors or High School students preparing for entrance into college music programs.

Lesson Structure

The lesson structure at The Music Den is required monthly attendance. Upon sign up, you should expect to attend lessons every week at the designated time agreed. The teacher will be available for a one-on-one lesson for either 1/2 hour or for 1 hour.
