Eric has been studying and performing on the saxophone, flute, and clarinet for over 12 years. As a Music Education and Saxophone Performance major, at Mason Gross School of the Arts, he studied with the noted saxophone pedagogue and historian, Paul Cohen, Eric performs all over New Jersey and New York, having most recently played with the Manhattan School of Music Saxophone Ensemble and Split the Lark New Music Ensemble at Le Poisson Rouge in New York City. He is an avid woodwind doubler in musicals, having performed extensively on saxophone, flute, and clarinet for various theatre companies including Villagers Theatre, Cornerstone Playhouse, Seton Hall University, the Livingston Theatre Company, and Cabaret Theatre. Eric was also the 2015 winner of the Rutgers Sinfonia Concerto Competition and has performed for President Barrack Obama.
As a teacher, Eric believes that students need a strong foundation on the basics of their instrument with emphasis on tonal concerpt and technique. With these basics, students can strive in any genre or style they wish to play.
Eric is available on Saturdays from 10 - 4.
